I agree completely with this statement, and also feel the need to add:

You wanna see BAD support - go play a game produced by VUgames (VUG) that isn't WoW or Half-Life2 (their Current FOTY).

Anyone who played D2 LOD remembers waiting for 1.10 --- took a looooooong time to get 1.10 patch out, but when they did, it was well worth it. Blizzard is ok in my book. A-Net has really supported this game well, IMHO. They seem to listen to communities a lot more than other game companies do, and so far, they have fixed bugs and added new content (no matter how minor, new stuff is new stuff) pretty quickly and regularly.

This thread is completely absurd. A.net, like any other company, is a business. It's ridiculous to expect daily updates. What kind of a company does that?

Do you have any programming experience yourself? It takes much longer than a day to implement pretty much anything other than bug fixes.

Internopsp, then why do you not simply -leave- the game and come back when they have updated it? Why do you tediously whine about wanting updates and bitch about how boring the game is?

Fine! We've all heard you. Point taken. Go find a new game that might entertain you for awhile until AN updates!

i hope you realize that you are a very tiny minority in that opinion

also with your schedule how many hours sleep do you get?

maybe sleep deprivation is affecting your cognitive processes perhaps?

Then when you realise the scope of game development ... then ... complain. Right now you have no right to discredit a company's work without the knowledge and support to back up your arguements. Right now you are not supporting your arguements .... and like many of your other posts ... you will never get a decent response from Anet ... unless you know what you are talking about!

(Oh and yes I know Jeremy and all of the other composers/audio effects team ... I left out music and network protocol and security completely ... good god I don't want to complicate it here)

then it's not about the game, it's about you finding something to do in life. and seeing how almost all (except you) posters in this thread are not concerning about constant updates, the "more ppl" you mentioned would be a tiny minority that could be forgotten, and not waste time on.

I sleep about 7 hours sometimes 8

I play the game 6-10 hours though. Guild wars 4 lyfe.

When i play a game, i play it till i am so good theres no point in playing anymore.

I dont play for fun per say. I play to have the best stuff and the best i can be. then i stop playing and find a new game if the current game drops the ball on updates such as what Guild wars is starting to do with no update NOT EVEN A NOTICE wednesday.

Internopsp .... if your done the game and have 15K armor that you like with the weapon you like ... and all the skills you will explicitly use ... You done! I hate saying this but move on to another game because GW and your needs will never mesh ... you have the best ... thats it ... hate to break it to ya. We're are not playing for the uber godly 1337 sword that only 1 person can have. That is why you will never be happy.

Poeple will not leave GW, you ma believe it because deep inside your heart you are upset ... but you cannot speak on others behalf. Nor can I. But your at the top hero ... thats it.

Not trying to diss arena net but why did they make it so easy to get everything in this game in like 3 weeks?

Atleast with lvls even if they didn't increase STATS it could of been something for people to try to get real high in

AND since lvl wont affect stats no one can say omg i got beat cause he's 10 lvls ahead of me.

Since a lvl 56 would still be as powerful as a lvl 20.

After nearly 1.5 months of reading this forum, i finally made an account because of thread makers like this.

Go to another game if you dont like it, that simple.

Tell you what mate, your lucky to have weekly updates that are so detailed and thought through compared to the service you get from other games.

Ive played games where you pay nearl £10 a month, and the service is nowhere near as good as this!!

Get hour head out your arse, and appreciate all the work Anet put into this game... they could be making alot more cash out of it then they are.
